Hallelujah, Spring Is Here! And So Is Our Glorious Easter Sunday Menu
Spring is in the air. And after battling the ‘Beast from the East’, Ireland’s worst snowstorm for 36 years, we’re definitely ready to embrace it.
Snowdrops and daffodils are rearing their heads. The sun is finally shining across the lush green of our expansive acres. Birds are chirruping, lambs are frolicking (somewhere). And to celebrate these springtime stirrings, we’re hosting a spectacular Easter Sunday lunch at our magnificent alpine-log clubhouse.
On Sunday 1st April, we’re providing a specially designed three-course lunch at our cosy clubhouse for you, your friends and family. From mouthwatering mains such as barbary duck and and prime sirloin steak to delicious desserts like warm chocolate brownie and passionfruit cheesecake, our talented chefs have devised a special menu for the day that’s in it that will have you salivating. Plus there’s a kids’ menu too, so there’ll be no arguments at the dinner table (about the food, at least).
Located off the M50 and just 20 minutes from Dublin’s centre, the scenic surroundings and spectacular views make it the perfect place to unwind and escape the city’s hustle and bustle. It’s the ideal place to play a round of golf and build an appetite before gorging at our clubhouse restaurant, La Mora. And for those who don’t golf, there is always the option to select your apéritif of choice from the bar before dining.
Luttrellstown will have it’s resident Easter Bunny hosting an Easter egg hunt on the grounds of the Clubhouse for the kids. So once the little ones have eaten, they’re afforded the opportunity to ‘hunt’ for their dessert and burn some of that excess energy at the same time.
One of West Dublin’s top eateries, La Mora looks out onto panoramic views of the Dublin mountains and the Liffey Valley. Situated in a bright and airy alpine-log clubhouse, you might be mistaken for thinking you’ve arrived in the Swiss alps as you enjoy the finest locally sourced ingredients prepared to the highest standards, a carefully selected wine list and superior service. All in a fun and celebratory atmosphere.
So don’t just make do with a shop-bought chocolate egg and a bunch of crocuses this Easter. We’re here and we’re totally ready to put a spring in your step.
Easter Sunday lunch at the clubhouse takes place from 12.30 to 4pm and costs €34.95 per person (€12.50 for the children’s menu). Book early to avoid disappointment.
