Luttrellstown Golf Course Update

Brighter Days and Even More Golf – Course Update April 2022

It seems Ireland is starting to thaw out a bit and that also means Spring is in the air and there’s a lovely stretch in the evenings. What better way than to enjoy a coffee or a pint on the balcony after a satisfying 18 holes.

The Greenkeeping team have been very busy behind the scenes on the course preparing for the golf season ahead. The team has hollow-cored the greens and has been working on the surfaces to make them even better.  All the aeration on the course has been completed and this in turn will allow firm surfaces throughout the course.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome a new addition to the Greenkeeping team as Gerry Dunning joins as our new Landscape Gardener. Gerry’s primary role is to develop all the landscaping aspects around the Clubhouse facility, and he has drawn up a planting scheme for the course to bring pockets of colour for the seasons ahead. We hope to add to the already natural beauty of the course.

As you can see, there is plenty of TLC ongoing and we look forward to a lovely spring season of golf ahead.

Keep an eye on social media and the website for further Golf Course, Clubhouse and Castle updates.
