Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s Society
Join us for an exclusive Memory Walk in support of our charity partner, The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland, at Luttrellstown Castle on Sunday 18th September at 12:45pm.
Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is a family-friendly event suitable for all ages and abilities to unite together with their families and communities to raise awareness and funds for dementia supports.
Meeting at the Castle carpark, the walk will take you through the estate forest, a lovely gentle and ambient walk. You will walk down by the folly and alongside the 20 acre lake which will bring you back to the barley fields in front of the castle.
The beautiful walk is approximately 5k and afterwards, you can enjoy some light refreshments on the terrace.
Registration is 12.45pm and the walk will start promptly at 1.15pm.
An estimated 64,000 people live with dementia in Ireland, which will more than double in the next 25 years to over 150,000 by 2045. However, there is one thing you can do to help – you can Walk Together on Sunday, September 18th.
