This remarkable organisation is the leading provider of dementia-specific services and advocacy in Ireland, working at the heart of communities nationwide to support individuals living with dementia and their carers.

Our vision is an Ireland where people on the journey of dementia are valued, can realise their rights and exercise choice, and are living well where they choose. A national non-profit organisation, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland advocates, empowers, and champions the rights of people living with dementia and their communities to quality support and services.

Incredibly, even in a country as small as Ireland, 11 people are diagnosed with dementia every single day. Almost 64,000 people are living with dementia here in Ireland and what is more, 4,066 people with dementia are under the age of 65. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland are the national leader in providing much-needed dementia-focused supports and services right across the country.
