The only thing to rival the quality of golf on offer, is the spectacular setting. From the famous River Liffey flowing past the time-worn Doric Temple and boathouse, to the majesty of the towering 15th century Irish castle hiding amongst the trees, it’s a challenge to concentrate on your game when you’re surrounded by such incredible scenery.
At the end of eighteen holes, a state-of-the-art, alpine lodge-style clubhouse awaits you, your playing partners and your stories of success. The Golf Course at Luttrellstown Castle Resort is passionately maintained by a team of expert groundskeepers and professionals. Facilities include a chipping area, 9-hole putting green and a 3-hole short course. Buggies, electric trolleys, Titleist golf clubs, lessons and a wide range of leading fashion and accessory brands, are all available from the fully-stocked Pro Shop.

We have plenty of dining options in the Castle and the Clubhouse to kick off the sparkly season.
Throughout December, the Club Bar will be open on selected weekdays, offering a daily festive special and we can accommodate group bookings of between 8-16 people with customised set menus.
On Christmas Eve, gather your family and friends around and savour a lavish meal in our Millennium Suite. Enjoy a specially crafted two or three-course festive lunch served from 12pm to 3.30pm, complete with tailored menus for kids and teenagers.
At Rugged Lane, we will be offering a truly indulgent seasonal menu throughout December and there will be extra dinner dates available Christmas week. Rugged Lane is also available for private hire.

From its very early days, Luttrellstown Castle had many associations with royalty from the days of King John, through to King George, Queen Victoria to High Society in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Lady Anne was Simon Luttrell`s daughter who married Prince Henry, the Duke of Cumberland and brother to King George III in 1771. On marriage, she became the Duchess of Cumberland and there is a beautiful suite in the castle named after her.
Afternoon Tea with a wide selection of teas and coffee is €70pp, Veuve Clicquot Champagne Afternoon Tea is €85pp, Children`s Afternoon Tea is €30per child and Christmas Cocktails are €14pp.
