The Gunroom

Experience the castle’s historic corner

Unique even by Luttrellstown Castle’s exceptional standards, this one-of-a-kind bedroom is actually set inside one of the original 15th-century towers. For centuries, it was the home for residents’ hunting guns and equipment. Today, this lovingly reinstated room contains a number of features that haven’t changed since then. The only thing more distinctive than the curved walls of the room, is the windows set within them. Some of the oldest and most elegantly-ornate windows in the entire property, they beam light in from the courtyard just outside them. Bathed in natural light and covered in soothing tones, this iconic room features a large king-sized bed draped in luxurious 100% cotton monogrammed linen. While just off it, is a spacious en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and Molton Brown bathroom beauty accessories.
